Training Cycle 1

The first training cycle marked the starting point of the youth’s creative and educational journey, offering an intensive introduction to the artistic tools needed for building an impactful theater performance. Over two full days of in-person training, the selected youth were immersed in a dynamic learning environment that combined practical exercises with guided reflection. They began by exploring theatrical fundamentals, including body movement, voice projection, emotional expression, and improvisation techniques—skills that helped them gain confidence and understand how to use their presence on stage to communicate effectively. Additionally, the creative writing component encouraged participants to transform their own experiences and perspectives into meaningful narratives. They practiced developing characters, structuring dialogue, and weaving diverse viewpoints into cohesive scripts. The cycle also introduced the principles of performance creation, showing the participants how to merge acting skills with written stories to form a unified theatrical piece grounded in human rights, diversity, and inclusion. By the end of this cycle, the youth had not only strengthened their artistic abilities but had also built a shared understanding of how theater can express identity, challenge stereotypes, and foster empathy within communities.
