During 1 January – 30 June 2016, IRCA has been implementing the project “Promoting Roma identity and equal access in education in Albania through Roma online radio and volunteer engagement of Roma role models”. The project is funded by Australian Embassy in Italy under the Direct Aid Program and with focus online communication and improving the access to the education system. Around 250 Youth from Tirana, Durres and Fier participated directly in the activities and around 85 000 persons, is the audience of Online community Radio Kanxura.
In 2016, the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth launched recently the Program of Internships in the Public Administration and Other Public Institutions. Roma graduates need to be integrated in this program and offered specific opportunities through IRCA support in the framework of this program.
