April 8, International Day of Roma People. IRCA in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture organized the activity “Roma Diversity: Value of Albanian Cultural Heritage”.
This activity had as objective to promote a part of the Roma historical tradition and culture through a photographic exhibition, interactive games, traditional presentations, socializing with each other and the cultural awareness and recognition of the Albanian society.
The welcoming speech given done by Mrs Mirela Kumbaro, Minister of Culture, stressed her support to promote Roma Culture. So did Mr. Bledar Taho, Executive Director of IRCA, who stated that we need to share these typical Roma cultural moments with participants of the event.
