The Institute of Roma Culture in Albania (IRCA) invites members of the Roma and non-Roma minority residing in Albania, who wish to cooperate with IRCA for the following four years 2025 – 2029 by offering their consultancy as experts in the fields social – economic, advocacy, participatory, educational, antigypsyism, environmental, cultural, linguistic, etc., as well as community trainers and facilitators, to apply.
The initiative aims to give opportunities to Roma and non-Roma experts, senior and junior, students, but also community facilitators engaged to contribute to the priority areas of social inclusion of the Roma minority.
The call is divided into thematic areas (Lot) as:
Lot 1 – Roma Education and Language, Culture, Antigypsyism.
Lot 2 – Economic Empowerment (Advice for Start up, Business, Economic Analysis, etc.
Lot 3 – Media (Journalism, audio and video podcast).
Lot 4 – Social Inclusion, Services, Human rights.
Lot 5 – Democracy, Elections, representation.
Lot 6 – Green Economy and Digitization.
Lot 7 – Trainer.
Lot 8 – Local Facilitator.
Profile of participants:
– Engaged youth of the Roma and non-Roma minority;
– Students of Humanities, Communication, Economics or Education;
– Youth activists or civil society representatives.
Applicants must:
To be in the age group of 15-60 years;
Be resident in Albania;
Be motivated and respect the deadlines and responsibilities of the terms of reference;
You belong to the Roma and non-Roma minority, (Certified by a letter of declaration from the Committee of National Minorities, or from Roma organizations with a seal and signature in the case of Roma affiliation.

Application deadline:
Interested persons must complete the online application form and send by email the CV, Letter of Motivation, Photocopy of the Identity Card as well as the signed letter of Roma affiliation in case of affiliation and within the date of October 20, 2024.
Selected applicants who meet the criteria to be part of this IRCA Fellows Group will be notified via email of financial offers and work assignments on the line.
