IRCA, with support from the American Embassy in Tirana, organized an activity on February 27th, 2014, at the Nishtulla Community Center. The activity, titled “Afro-American Movement: Guide for Respect for Minority Rights in Albania”, included participants from the Roma community, American Embassy representatives and different institutions from Civil Society. Roma youth prepared a show which included presentations, role-playing skits, facilitated an open dialogue after watching a documentary which related the experiences of the Afro-American movement with the current challenges of Roma in Albania.
